I mean, maybe they just wanted a TV programme review and not a lecture on body positivity but… if they’d said something I could have restructured it so it didn’t just look like I concluded with anti-fat sentiments. mYUUUHHHHHHH

I mean, it’s pretty clear that the review has been chopped because the image running alongside the text hangs out uglylyly.
Also they changed my purposeful misspelling of Satisfaction from SatiFATion, which is fine, except they’ve left the “FAT” part underlined, which makes it weird. Not a big deal though.
SIGH.

oh my god, Shouting at Cows chopped my entire concluding paragraph out of my review of ‘My Big Fat Fetish’ in which I talk about anti-fat bullying and body positivity and how the women have embraced their bodies and identity. Now it looks like I’ve concluded negatively on fat people which is totally not my stance AT ALL. I wanted to review this programme cause I feel strongly...

I’ve heard some people show a little… disgruntlement that the feminist ‘movement’ can be ignorant of trans folk so it’s nice to see the vast majority of the feminist groups I know in the UK standing up in anger at the anti-trans behaviour of the RadFem2012 convention.

Advice Needed - Awkward Stares

I’d love to get everyone’s take on this situation, since I know we’ve all dealt with it.
I was wondering how you would recommend dealing with guys who stare right at your boobs. I’m 14, and I had that done to be for the first time the other day, and I felt so vulnerable and mortified. It was a public place (Doctor’s waiting room) so I couldn’t exactly scream EYES UP HERE BUD....
